Site survey & Consultation

  • Site visit and assessment (approx. 2hrs) - Survey of existing conditions, aspect, soil type, boundaries, and features.

  • Client brief - Discussion of client needs, style, expectations and vision.

  • Advice on potential layouts, materials, colour palettes, and planting ideas.

  • A comprehensive, written summary of site conditions, goals and recommendations, including photographs and notes for reference.

Concept Plan

  • Site survey & initial consultation.

  • Full scale, annotated 2D concept plan supported with 3D visuals and mood board.

  • Spatial zoning and feature ideas.

  • Preliminary planting and material palettes.

  • Review meeting - Presentation & feedback.

  • Two design revisions (layout adjustments).

Design package

  • Site survey & initial consultation.

  • Full scale, annotated 2D concept plan, enhanced 3D visuals and mood board.

  • Materials and scaled planting plans.

  • Review meeting - Presentation & feedback. Two revisions (layout adjustments).

  • Detailed technical drawings for pricing and construction as required - setting out plans, lighting locations, levels and cross sections.

Project oversight

  • Complete design package.

  • Contractor introduction and tender management if required.

  • Aesthetic oversight and design intent management. This includes regular updates and site visits, issue resolution and quality oversight throughout.

  • Full handover document including planting care guidance, supplier contacts, and first-year maintenance recommendations.

Planting Plan

  • Site assessment and written brief — aspect, soil conditions, existing growth, light, and the atmosphere you want to create.

  • Ecologically considered, scaled planting plan with full species selection.

  • Plant schedule detailing species, size, location and quantities for costing, ordering, and planting.

  • Seasonal interest notes. Care and establishment guidance for the first twelve months.

Planning permission

  • Site assessment and review of specific planning requirements.

  • Collaboration with your architect or planning consultant.

  • Comprehensive landscape plans to meet local council planning requirements and sympathetic integration with the surrounding landscape. Key considerations -

  • Accessibility.

  • Drainage & water management.

  • Ecological impact.

  • Prioritising native and locally appropriate plant species to support existing ecosystems.
